"Anthony's Double-Header Birthday Celebration" fundraiser ran from July 13 - August 17, 2003. As the title suggests, the collection was organized to celebrate two very special events: Anthony's 32nd birthday and the news that The Anthony Kearns Music Fund had been granted tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service.

In just over a month's time, a total of $1,417.10 was donated to the Music Fund. While this campaign did not specify ahead of time any particular use for the funds, there was enthusiastic agreement from both Board members and fans that this money could serve as a substantial launching point for funding the vocal scholarship category of the Music Fund. According to its Code of Regulations, the Music Fund can award up to three voice scholarships a year, each scholarship being as much as $2,500. There was also positive feedback that it would be appropriate for the Christmas 2003 fundraiser to focus on continuing this effort to build the vocal scholarship category of the Music Fund.
