At the risk of too much of a good thing, the Anthony Kearns Music Fund is utilizing the opera theme for its holiday fundraiser for the third year in a row! But who can ignore our enthusiastic and animated opera singers, Brunhilda and Thor! They are singing their hearts out in hopes that you will be inspired to participate in the Music Fund’s holiday 2005 fundraiser, “Another Opera-tunity”, which is seeking to raise $5,000 for vocal scholarships.
Each year the Music Fund awards as many as three scholarships (up to $2,500 each) to conservatory-level Irish voice students. At the present time the Fund has $2,500 earmarked for scholarships. Raising an additional $5,000 would assure sufficient scholarship funding for the 2006 year. To read about past recipients,
As appealing as Brunhilda and Thor are in their own right, they realize that additional incentives are a good thing when it comes to fundraising. So, using their considerable charm, they secured three outstanding drawing items to be awarded to three lucky winners at the conclusion of the fundraiser on December 31, 2005 (5:00p.m.). By making a donation to “Another Opera-tunity”, no matter the amount, you will be automatically eligible for the drawing.*
For more details on these wonderful prizes, click on the individual items below.
Please consider putting “Another Opera-tunity” on your holiday gift giving list today. Your gift will be twice given as it will first help make our fundraiser an immediate success, and then it will benefit, through scholarships, some talented and worthy opera students in the very near future.

NOTE:
*If you are included in the drawing, IRS regulations require that the amount of your donation which you may deduct from your federal taxes for 2005 will be reduced by $100.00, the estimated value of the most valuable prize. We are therefore offering you the option to exclude yourself from the drawing in order to be able to deduct the full amount of your donation from your 2005 federal taxes. Should you wish to exclude yourself from the drawing, please include a note with your donation letting us know that you do not want to participate in the drawing.
